Lilacs
I rode my bike close to 80 kilometers yesterday. First a trip to Malmö and later, in the evening, I went for an off-road trip with my friend Stefan. We ended up, as so many times before, in Skrylle and Måryd. Everywhere we went the trees and grass had that fresh and crisp-green spring color and the lilacs were in full bloom. All in all it was a nice trip with many beautiful sights and a couple of great uphills:)

A flower
It’s almost beginning to feel like summer. Another day with a clear blue sky is something that I definitely can, and would like to, get used to:)
Spring?
It seems like the sun has abandoned us again but hopefully it will be back soon. Until then have a look at these flowers and rejoice in the fact that they will be everywhere real soon. Also, happy birthday L:)

Spring
We woke up this morning with the sun shining in through bedroom window and decided to go for a walk before buying things for our breakfast. We were lucky enough to get out because the sky that was then clear blue with a nice and warm sun shining on us is now grey and dull. In case you missed that precious hour I thought that perhaps this flower could make you as happy as that walk made us?:)

A drop
I wonder what kind of fir-tree this could be? All I can say is that it’s not a “regular” one because all the needles are placed in a line rather than around the entire branch. Anyone out there who knows?
Lilies
Sometimes you go through all kinds of ordeals to get a picture and sometimes you just go into the livingroom.
Savoy cabbage
Today’s picture shows a closeup of a water drop on a piece of Savoy cabbage. Have a nice weekend:)
The olive
Fall is upon us and soon it is time for harvest at Lokföraregatan. Earlier this summer we bought an olive tree and ever since we’ve been hoping to become self-sufficient with everything regarding olives. We’ve even talked about industrializing the whole process and make big money while just relaxing in the sun between harvests. At this time it is however uncertain if our plans are at all possible since you’re looking at pretty much the entire crop below;)
The water-lily
It’s Sunday and yet another day of dark clouds awaits. Perhaps a water-lily in full bloom can make the day a bit brighter for us?
The orb
Once again I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Vendsyssel which is the name of the northwestern part of Jutland in Denmark. We had a lovely time there and I even got the opportunity to take some pictures. The one below is the first of many:)
Purple
Today it’s raining and the sky is grey so I thought it would be fitting to give you a little flower to keep you company:)

The water drop
Do I have to mention that I’m running low on pictures at the moment?;) I need to get out and fill that hard drive with some new ones as soon as possible. Until then, have a look at a plant in my living room. I like the shining water drop in the middle and the way the leaf closest to us shows the shadow of the stem:)

Dandelion
A friend of mine posted a picture of a dandelion the other day. I liked his picture so much I had to try it our for myself:)

In bloom
I went for a bike ride yesterday and on my way I passed a few fields of oilseed rape. The fields looked beautiful and so did everything else as well. The trees had that crisp and fresh color of green and the sky was blue. That is, until I was on my way back home. It was at this time the sky opened up and by the time I got home I was soaking wet. I did however manage to protect the camera from the rain and did get some ok-ish pictures so I guess it was worth it:)
Please press. You need to see this one in its full size:)
Orange
Yesterday the weather was amazing and it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse today. The blog needs some color on a day like this and I think I know what picture to post. whether you work or are free, try to get outside for a while and enjoy the spring of 2011:)
Wood anemone
I like using the macro lense and to be able to come really close to what I’m taking a picture of. Animals and plants are probably my favorites with the latter one being just a bit easier to catch. It is my experience that plants tend to be more co-operative than animals who seem to be approaching warp speed just as soon as I’m getting within range of them;)
Siberian squills
My girlfriend and I went to the botanical garden last Sunday. While she did some reading I went for a stroll with my camera and ended up in the middle of a field of Siberian squills, or scillor in Swedish.
Daffodils
This weekend has had nothing but great spring weather and what better way to celebrate that than a few daffodils? Also, happy birthday mom:)
