Den Gamle By, or The Old Town, in Aarhus is a place similar to Kulturen in Lund, only much bigger. If you haven’t seen either of them they both contain houses that have been brought there and built up again in the exact same way. The houses can be everything from many hundred years old to as new as from the seventies in the case of The Old Town. They both look very nice and it’s interesting to visit them. If I had to choose a winner the victory would undoubtedly go to Aarhus because they have done so much more over there. There is, for example, a working bakery where they bake using old methods. Very quaint and nice. They also have animals and the horse below is a fine example of that.
