The city of Prague has a lot of trams cruising the various roads. This is something I examined with interest because Lund, where we live, is also planning to invest in this way of public transportation. In Prague it looks very nice and the trams sure are a smooth way to travel but I think it’s a bit different in a much smaller city like Lund. Firstly, the roads are a lot smaller making it a lot tighter and crowded. Secondly, I’m still not convinced that we actually need them.
But please, have a look at the nice way the rails glimmer in the evening sun. It may be something you’ll be able to see here soon as well.
