I’ve taken so many pictures in a nature area outside of Lund called Skrylle during my various bike trips there that it’s been long since I lost count of them. A couple of evenings ago I snapped this one as I was heading home. Normally I like summer more than fall but one thing fall has going for it, is the intense colors in the beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
From July last year until yesterday I was at home with our son. Now, at 15 months he has just begun kindergarten. Anyway, back to last summer. We spent a lot of our time on the streets and in the parks of Lund and, more or less, on a daily basis we passed by the Cathedral of Lund. If it was during our morning walk there was a good chance of walking past the man you can see in the middle window in the picture below. I don’t know what happened to him later on but I guessed he moved on which I guess at least the Cathedral of Lund approves of since I have a very strong suspicion that he used the Cathedral for some of his more pressing emergencies.
When I visited EYE at Amsterdam Noord this summer I happened to walk past this spectacular piece of art/graffiti. I really hate seeing crappy people going around writing their tags or spraying something ugly and meaningless but when someone creates something like the portrait below I’m all for it. Beautiful in all ways!
