I believe I sent out a warning to you the last time that I posted pictures of spiders that there would come more? Well. If you have a problem with them you probably should avoid today’s post. Sorry;)
Last weekend we had breakfast in the Botanical Gardens of Lund. After eating I went for a little stroll to take some pictures. Now, flowers are easy to take pictures of because, in my experience, they tend to not fly or walk around that much. Animals, like in the picture below, are harder but sometimes, just sometimes, you meet a few that are really cooperative.
Two bulls on a field in the rain. I can’t say that I’m that comfortable with cows or bulls. They’re definitely on my top three list over animals I do not trust, alongside poodles and horses. Cows and horses just have a huge muscular body and I get the impression that they’re not totally in control of it all the time and that a fly or something could send them off on a killing spree;). Poodles, well, they’re poodles and that makes them the spawn of satan most likely. Need I say more?:).
Anyway. This time I got lucky and survived the encounter but that doesn’t move cows/bulls from my list just yet;)
The bakery, St. Jakobs, in Lund makes the nicest breads and sweetest cakes. It has quickly become both my girlfriend’s and my own favorite bakery. Apparently this is something we share with a lot of people and even dogs.
Today I’ve been up since a quarter to seven. First to do some laundry and after that to buy some bread at Lund’s best bakery, St. Jacobs. I noticed as a left my house that, even though it was only five degrees Celsius, it felt like spring in the air. Now, a few hours later the sun has broken through the morning mist and we’re ready for our first longer bike trip of the year.
Last weekend we went to Skrylle by car for a little walk, a hamburger with the added bonus of meeting some cats like the one below but riding our bikes, like today is even better:)
Late fall and winter have been a little bit different the last few years close to Västra Stationstorget in Lund. It’s absolutely full of birds, fighting or talking about this and that. I thank everything that is precious that they have left well before we start having our windows open.
