Today I’d like to show you a couple of photos that I’ve taken from our living room. I don’t think we have the most exciting view but it’s not to shabby either.
The other day I turned on the water in the bath room sink. At first it was to try to get a picture of a water drop in mid-air but the bath room was too dark to get an exposure time that was short enough. Instead I got a picture of the water as it was running. The green background is the blurry shape of our soap dispenser.
Here’s a little bonus for you all today. I’m home with a horrible cold and have nothing to do so I thought that, if posting another picture won’t cure me, it will at least make a few minutes go by a little bit faster.
As we sat by the table, eating our breakfast, I happened to glance outside. This was what the sky looked like at 05:55 this morning. I would probably have loved the bus ride to work today because there is usually a beautiful mist over the fields and ponds this time of year. Unfortunately I missed that but a sunrise with such an intense color isn’t too bad either.
Wow! Sometimes when it comes to taking pictures it’s all about timing and luck. I was just sitting by the computer when I happened to look out through the window. All of a sudden a rainbow started to appear in front of me. It was gone a couple of moments later but I had time enough to get a few pictures of the beautiful view.

We have a few doves that are terrorising our balcony. They keep on coming back leaving us small gifts everywhere and I have a strong suspicion that they’re out to get our strawberries. Yesterday they even had the gall to leave evidence of their visit in form of a taunting feather on our table. I threw it away but not before taking a picture of it:)
